Sir Richard had flown 36 hours to New Zealand as part of a fundraiser. Before he arrived, he made it clear, he didn’t want to solely talk business during his time here. Instead he wished to talk about something much more important, the environment.
He met with our founder, Sir Rob Fenwick, at Poderi Crisci to sample many of their locally sourced dishes to discuss some of the environmental initiatives that Rob has dedicated his life to, specifically his work with Predator Free 2050.
Sir Richard arrived already being a fan of Sir Robs work, but left as a fan of the Te Matuku Oyster as well.
After lunch Sir Richard flew to the beautiful Rotoroa Island – as part of his interest in New Zealand’s mission to become Predator Free by 2050.
